Yes, we have always raised funds for local causes and this year we will once again have fundraisers for local community organisations.
Komwatch Rapid Response 24 hours – 082 327 7783 – their aim is to discourage, through their presence/awareness, any prospective criminals and thereby make the residents of Kommetjie aware of safety and crime prevention measures in conjunction with Ocean View SAPS.
EVS – 083 460 3898 – local Emergency Volunteer Services based in Ocean View and serving the entire valley.
Deep South Emergency Control Centre – 021 782 0333 – working in conjunction with all Emergency Services, including Armed Response Units, South African Police Services, Ambulance, Fire & Rescue Services – for ANY EMERGENCY that you are experiencing from cats up trees, snakes in your house, fire, violent crime, burglary and motor vehicle accidents.
In addition, we are sponsoring:
Hopetown – creating opportunities in the Ocean View Community for holistic development through education, skills training & mentoring.
Shark Spotters – improve beach safety by applying innovative and responsible shark safety solutions that reduce the spatial overlap between people and sharks – reducing the risk of a shark bite.
